When I was 12 I had 4 big molars pulled out and big metal fillings put in most of my teeth cuz I had cavities. My front teeth are all overlapping and crammed together. Then another 1 of my back teeth cracked in half and I had to have it pulled out. Now that I'm 15, the fillings have all turned black, some have come out and I have holes in those teeth, and my front teeth seem to be getting pretty wobbly. I can move a couple with just my tongue they're so loose. I mean they move like quite a bit real easy. The last time I went to the dentist was like about 3 years ago(when I had the last 1 pulled out) and he said I grind my teeth a lot and that's messing up my teeth. Can that make them loose too? Some of mine are so wobbly now I think they actually will fall out unless I just take them out first. We don't have dental insurance and not much money, so if it's gonna cost a lot to do whatever it probly won't be happenin. If they do fall out I can probly get some kind of fake teeth right?
I hate my teeth!! When I was younger I wished they would all just fall out.?

Financial Assistance and Other Resources for People With Cancer:Cancer imposes heavy economic burdens on both patients and their families. For many people, a portion of medical expenses is paid by their health insurance plan. For individuals who do not have health insurance or who need financial assistance to cover health care costs, resources are available, including Government-sponsored programs and services supported by nonprofit organizations. Cancer patients and their families should discuss any concerns they may have about health care costs with their physician, medical social worker, or the business office of their hospital or clinic.
This is about FREE hospitalization, if you need it and they WILL help you!

In 1946, Congress passed a law that gave hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities grants and loans for construction and modernization. In return, they agreed to provide a reasonable volume of services to persons unable to pay and to make their services available to all persons residing in the facility’s area. The program stopped providing funds in 1997, but about 300 health care facilities nationwide are still obligated to provide free or reduced-cost care.

Reply:Grinding can cause tooth lose and fillings to fall out. You can get night gaurds for this at the drug store or Wal-Mart. I would go to the dentist for the wobbly teeth and see if something can be done. I recommend the Snap-On Smile it is cool. You can make your smile look like Julia Roberts! It is so cool just go to this website:

I hope this helps! I really want you to feel comfortable about your teeth everyone should!
Reply:sure u can get dentures but they are expensive and can mess up your gums.
you can also get dental implants but they are expensive also. but that also depends on the health of your gums.
if u dont dental insurance i am sure you can find dentists who will accept payment installments.
dont know where u live but in many teaching hospitals...dental students under strict supervision of dentists will do work on your teeth for free or at a very very cheap price.
dental health greatly affects the health of your body also.
so take care of yourself:) you deserve it!
Reply:Grinding your teeth can cause damage to your teeth but not make them loose.
It sounds like to me you aren't taking care of your teeth at all. When a filling come out its because more decay is in the tooth and now the filling has nothing healthy to grab onto. This isn't the fault of the dentist because if you take care of your teeth properly a filling should last 15 to 20 years if not longer.
It also sounds like to me you could possible have periodontal disease. Which is an infection in your gums, which is also really sad because you are so young. Periodontal disease is when buildup or plaque stays on your teeth and then gets under the gums. It hardens into something called calculus that eats away at the bone holding your tooth into place. Once the bone is gone you can't get it back and then the tooth will become loose until it falls out.
You really need to go to the dentist. Unfortunately it sounds like you are going to be losing some more teeth and then find away to replace them. Please start flossing every night and then brushing.
Reply:It sounds like you really, really need to see a dentist. Since you don't have insurance and finances are a problem, you and your parents should consider going to a community health center. Many, many of them across the US offer dental care. It is usually provided at little or no cost, depending on the state. http://ask.hrsa.gov/pc/
In the meantime, go to your local drugstore/pharmacy and buy a $20 night guard that you can mold yourself. If the problem is caused or even being exacerbated by bruxism (grinding), then even this will help some. It'll give you an idea of whether that's (part of) the problem.
Good luck.
Reply:Baby you are 15! You will never get as good as what God gave you. If there is not much money than your mother will qualify for MEDICAID that you apply for at your local countys state assistance program (DHS here) Since you are aminor they should pay for repairs. Sounds like you will have enough points (points of problems on a rating scale the state uses)that you will qualify for braces and other what they call cosmetic dental services.
Reply:Nighttime grinding of teeth will wear them down, sometimes very badly, but it does not make the teeth loose. It sounds like you have gum disease and this is caused by poor care of your teeth. Not brushing frequently enough or well enough, or both. It is also important to floss. Depending on the degree of the gum disease, some of the teeth that are now feeling loose may solidify themselves a bit if you get your teeth cleaned by the hygenist, all the cavities filled and you start taking much better care of your teeth. Your dentist or hygenist should show you how to massage your gums with your tooth brush...the gums are actually the most important, and we forget them. If you value saving any of your teeth at all, get to the dentist immediately. Also, keep in mind that if you are starting to use dentures now at such a young age, you can end up having more bone loss in your jaws over the years and that will make it more difficult for you to 'fit' dentures when you get older. Do everything you can to save what teeth you can right now!
Reply:you will be surprised what an orthodontist can do for your teeth .
