Teeth cleaning???

when i go get my teeth cleaned my teeth has one of those "nails on chalkboard" feeling when they scrape on my teeth... im guessing my teeth are sensitive because the feeling of them scraping on my teeth is like the nails feeling on the chalkboard... it is cold, metallly, and gives me a lil shock... it is hard to explain it but how can i overceom this?

Teeth cleaning???
Are you sensitive near the gum line? If so, you may have some slight recession. Although, I'm surprised they never mentioned that at the dental office. Does it bother you when they use air on you, or when they clean your teeth with the hydrosonic (water under pressure)?

You may be sensitive to the vibration, enamel does not contain nerves, but gets its feeling through vibration.

Hope I helped, good luck!!
