Teeth decay at top of teeth.?

I would like to know what can a dentist do about decay in the top of your teeth. And what could be the cause of you waking up brushing your teeth one morning and the top of you front teeth crumbles, leaving two ugly wholes in the top of your teeth that have began to look like they are decaying? What can the dentist do about this also?

Teeth decay at top of teeth.?
I'm assuming that by the top you mean at the gum line. This area can be restored with a white composite resin or glass ionomer filling. Since its not directly on a chewing surface the chances that you will sheer it off is minimal. By it being in the front at the"top" of the tooth they you're likely to check it out now and then, so if it begins to fail %26amp; seperate at the margin you can go back and get it replaced quickly.

This is pretty common you'll be fine.
Reply:fill them or pull them if they are beyond repair and replace them with false teeth
Reply:The dentist can do veneers or crowns on your front teeth.
Reply:fillings, crowns, caps
Reply:More than likely, these teeth already had decay in them %26amp; when you brushed, it "caved" in. I'm sure that the dentist can do a number of things to teeth pretty again. I'm thinking fillings or crowns will be your best bet. Call your dentist %26amp; make an appointment to get them looked at. Good luck!
Reply:they can be filled with white filling. do you drink alot of soda? this will definetly cause tooth decay at the gum line.
Reply:Without actually looking in your mouth that is impossible to answer and only by going and having a proper examination will you find the answer to this question.
