ok here's the deal my 4 front teeth on the bottom row started tingling and i couldn't get to the dentist on time and the day before i went to the dentist i felt the same 4 teeth starting to move. like the loose or something and im scared to death i went to the dentist and they said nothing was wrong with my teeth i just had very small cavity on my muller which is not anywhere near those theeth. so i got it filled and my teeth still feel like there moving everytime my tounge hits the back of it or the front of it. whats the meaning of this? can your teeth actually shift out of place?
Teeth problems ! plz help?
if you have bone loss, your teeth can move. I would guess that your dentist would have noticed anything wrong, but if you want a second opinion go to a periodontist. They deal with bone loss and gum problems.
Reply:that happens to me! I have no idea!
Reply:my teeth can Shift out place
Reply:See a specialist. I think an Endodontist (spelling?). They can see if it's bone loss or anything else.

Teeth crisis?
Here's the deal: My teeth are perfectly straight, except for this one tooth on the bottom, in the middle. You see, this too is more back than rest of the teeth. I thought I'd grown out of it, yet It has been this way for about 10 years. Because it is the only tooth out of place, I see it as a waste to get braces. Is there any other way to straighten this tooth?
Thanks.
Teeth crisis?
You might benefit from a veneer on that one tooth. It won't really straighten it, but what they'll do is stick a porcelain veneer on top of the original tooth and build it up so from the front it will look like they are all perfectly straight. Just one veneer would probably cost you about $500, and insurance doesn't cover it because it's cosmetic.
Reply:veneers will "straighten" out your teeth in two doctors visits.
Reply:agree with veneers

Teeth growing at 18?
is it possible for an 18 yr old to be still growing teeth?
i have this one tooth right at the back of my gum... it's part tooth and much more gum unlike other tooths...
is it wisdom tooth or what? confused.
Teeth growing at 18?
yap, it's wisdom tooth.
I even at 22 experienced having a growing tooth such as that.
Reply:That is the beginning of a wisdom tooth.
Reply:The very last tooth in the back of your mouth, both upper and lower, are wisdom teeth (and they will most likely hurt when coming in).
Reply:It sounds like a compacted wisdom tooth. lots of people get them. you will need to visit a dentist and may need to get them (probably more will grow soon,) removed

Teeth whitening. I am wearing retainer at night.?
I whitened my teeth a couple months ago, I did it during the day and I've to wear my retainer at night. The problem is there are lines across my teeth, top and bottom. They make my teeth look like they're 2 colors and make me look funny, too. I've straight teeth now but I don't like 2tone colors on them (If you take a close look at them). Please help!! Should I whiten my teeth again? Or what should I do??
Teeth whitening. I am wearing retainer at night.?
It sounds like what you have is partial decalcification or softening of the enamel around where your brackets were. If that was indeed the case the would show your teeth as being one coler except for where the brackets were and those spaces would be another color. If that is the case whitening them repeatedly will only soften the difference but never remove it as both sections will whiten equally and the difference in colors would still be evident. Talk with your dentist about what cosmetic options he/she would recommend.
Reply:I am not sure what the lines are from but I would not suggest using the whiteners again this soon, most say every 6 months. What might help is Crest Vivid White tooth paste. This will help even out the color of your teeth and hopefully get rid of those lines. I would also suggest investing in an electric tooth brush, this will help naturally whiten your teeth and keep them white.
Good Luck!

Teeth extraction questions?
i have wisdom teeth (4) and 4 regular teeth for braces. i had it done yesterday so the 4 regular teeth has black on them which i guess is normal since its just blood but when does it go away? how long does swelling last? how do i brush my teeth i also have stitches in the back of my lower jaw because i have 2 small impacting teeth.
Teeth extraction questions?
Didn't your dentist go through this with you? That's a bit harsh to leave you with no instructions. The discolouration should go away in a few weeks, gradually it will return to the normal pink colour. The swelling also will be gone in a few weeks. When you brush your teeth, be SO careful. Stay away from the area for a week or so. It may even be better just to rinse gently instead of brushing. Good luck with the discomfort, just think how great your teeth will look once they are all healed and straight!

Teeth whitening????
So I would like to get my teeth a little whiter....ever since I got my braces off the second time, they never really came out that white. Everytime I go to get my teeth cleaned they get clean, but not any whiter.
I don't want to go to the dentist to get them whitened bc it's cosmetic, expensive, and not covered by our insurance....and my mom would have to pay for it. I brush my teeth like twice a day, and whenever else they need to, so it's not b/c I dont brush my teeth. It's just the fact that I had my braces on twice and the second time I got them off they just did not come out as clean as before. I've tried multiple whitening toothpastes...and I know crest white strips work b/c i have tried those before also.
So what I was wondering was:
a) Is there a good whitening toothpaste out there that you have used and personally seen your teeth get whiter?
b)Any other product that is not too expensive that I can buy at the store.(Cheaper than crest white strips or off brand)
Teeth whitening????
Some toothpastes claim to whiten teeth. There's nothing wrong with using whitening toothpastes as long as they also contain fluoride and ingredients that fight plaque and tartar. Log on to http://tipsfromruby-teethcare.blogspot.c... tips to have sparkle on your teeth and keep them in good.

for whitening toothpaste find at http://dentalbrowse.com/list_products.ph...
Reply:Try using colgate like rapid fire...Toothpaste was on sale so we bought a bunch and used them all and saw my teeth get whiter and I still have my braces on! luckily i get a free whitening treatment after i get them off...
EDIT: I also used cheap hard toothbrushes too for my teeth to get in all the nooks and crannys...
Reply:You can make a paste with baking soda and water on your tooth brush. I hear baking soda will work wonders!
Reply:teeth whitening treatments such as laser teeth whitening is too expensive and having teeth whitening kits is the alternative. there are a lot of teeth whitening kits available in the market that promises effective results. you can check on prices and reviews or testimonials of such products. but i suggest that you consider a product that contains natural ingredients that won't cause irritation, those products also delivers professional results and they are not that expensive too. try using maximum teeth whitening. you can check the product by visiting http://www.maximumteethwhitening.com

Starting to have teeth problems again, what can I do...?
I have really bad teeth and have had for years. Last year I had to have 3 teeth pulled on the same side (frankly I think it was the dentists fault). I had an abscess on an upper wisdom tooth and had that pulled but nothing was done about the abscess. A month later, I lost the next in line (again with an infection), then a month later I lost the third tooth so I only have two back teeth on the upper left side. Each time, he said he didn't know where the infection was coming from but did nothing about the infection. Well, it has been a year and except for some twinges now and then everything has been fine. But last week my cheek started puffing and getting white stripes in it just like before. I don't have a tooth ache but my lower jaw feels like it is asleep (only on the left side) and my upper gum where he pulled the teeth is starting to ache. What on earth can be wrong with my mouth? I don't have dental insurance and will not use the same dentist as before. help...
Starting to have teeth problems again, what can I do...?
Have you been seeing another dentist every six months?
I suggest you find a new dentist, get a full set of x-rays, get a full exam, and perhaps some of these infections can be avoided.
Decay eats away at a tooth...when it reaches the nerve, root or gums, then infections set it...causing tremendous pain. Seeing the dentist regularly can help avoid the decay from getting out of hand.
Please get EVERYTHING checked out. Emergency visits usually only cover the area that's bothering you...this doesn't include a thorough exam.
Reply:I think you should be very concerned. All these infections are not healthy for you. I suggest you find another dentist that will either take payments or work with you. You need to have some full xrays and a good repupatable dentist.
