I have toothache in my bottom left molar, 3 in front of the wisdom tooth but when I look at it in a mirror the tooth looks fine. Obviously, I%26#039;m not a dentist, so there might still be a cavity, but it looks ok.
Thing is, the tooth behind it has a TINY hole in it, on the top of the tooth in one of the pits - I thought there was something black stuck in it, but after brushing my teeth it was still there, and I got a pin and discovered it%26#039;s actually a small hole which is black in colour. I%26#039;m assuming this is a cavity in the tooth?
Could the cavity in this tooth be causing the toothache in the tooth in front of it? I also have pain in the molar 3 from the back on the top, could the pains all be linked to a cavity in a tooth that DOESN%26#039;T hurt?!!
I know I%26#039;m going to have to go to a dentist, but I%26#039;m not registered with one, and I need to find one who%26#039;ll treat me on the NHS - I can%26#039;t afford to go private.
Can a cavity in one tooth cause pain in other teeth?
I don%26#039;t know if a cavity in one tooth can cause pain in a different tooth.....I think it%26#039;s more likely that you have cavities in both teeth, sorry!
Reply:Yes, you can have deferred pain from a single tooth.
Please see a dentist soon. Teeth don%26#039;t stop decaying. Or like Neil Young says, %26quot;rust never sleeps%26quot;.
Reply:Definitely, the nerves from all your teeth are connected. I can%26#039;t stress to you enough, go to a dentist. Most will give you a free consultation.
Reply:dental pain does not cause only by cavity.
there are possible causes rather than cavity
Reply:If you can see a cavity then the trouble is beyond your scope. You need to see a dentist and very soon. There are nerves that travel through your gum-line and from tooth to tooth, if one tooth is infected the other may hurt. It is also important to note that you may have an abscess which could result in alot of pain and in the end a root canal. You need to get in ASAP, meanwhile look at this site to get more info and possible pictures that may better educate you.
Reply:yes it is called deffered pain.
Reply:Go have it checked at a local NHS dentist. You can find them at
