Teeth gap?

im 13 and i have a gap in between my front two teeth about medium size


i was wondering what i should so


i really dont want braces because they well just look weird


anyways


i have a couple options


1) veneers


2)teeth bonding


3)the teeth gap bands


and one other question you know how tooth bonding costs like $400+ per tooth, well i was wondering since it was my two front teeth that needed to be bonded if it would cost $800 or $400





please help me

Who gave you those options? Was it your dentist? If not, then you may have other options and you need to discuss this with him/her. At 13 your gap may close up as it%26#039;s not uncommon to see this gap. Sometimes there%26#039;s even a band of fibrous tissue between the teeth [a frenum] that keeps the teeth apart. If this is changed the teeth come together. Go with what your doc says is best but at your age I sure wouldn%26#039;t be putting on any veneers.
Reply:If the band of tissue is interfering and they cut it, it is likely that the gap would resolve on it%26#039;s own. But this doesn%26#039;t mean you%26#039;ll still be excluded from needing some orthodontic treatment. Still, many people have it resolve on it%26#039;s own. Report It

If you%26#039;re an older person (23+), try invisiline (sp?) like products or bands. No one can promise that your teeth won%26#039;t float back into this undesirable position after you%26#039;re done, however.
Reply:all the kids in your age have braces !And now days they look really good ! You can even change the color on the bands!


And you are still growing ! So the decision will be your parent to make

Reply:porcelain veneers are supposed to be the best route (they las the longest) but they%26#039;re very expensive - up to $1500 per tooth!





keep in mind that insurance won%26#039;t cover whatever option you choose because it will be cosmetic.

Reply:well i also have a gap in between my two teeths and my mom says the i might need a retainer so i recommend you get a retainer its way better than braces and besides if ur teeth r not crooked u dont need braces i might get a retainer also
Reply:I was in the same boat you were at your age. I got braces and that fixed me. Its not that bad really. It is the cheapest route to go and it really does work. Im not sure how much the teeth bonding costs but you should really think about the braces. At 13 your parents would have to pay for it so you need to think about that too.
Reply:i think they have invisi-line retainers. that will clear it up in a few weeks even. you should probably get the bands
