Can you sell teeth?

I recently had a little oral surgery to remove some impacted wisdom teeth and fix a jaw problem. After the surgery, my oral surgeon plunked down two of my teeth in front of me. I got to talking later that day about the teeth to my boyfriend who mentioned that they were ivory. Something I guess I knew but had always associated with elephants. The conversation went on and I started thinking about weather or not I could sell these teeth. I have no need for a couple of teeth, and they are in good condition. perhaps they could be sold to a company that makes false teeth, or to someone who works with ivory. Does anyone know if you can sell your teeth? Who would buy teeth? How would you go about doing it? I know it is a wierd question, but all answers are appreciated!

Can you sell teeth?
Your teeth aren%26#039;t made from ivory--ivory is something totally different. Also, they don%26#039;t use real teeth when making dentures. Being without blood supply the teeth will soon dry out and probably crumple. Sorry.

Reply:No you can%26#039;t sell your teeth. They use elephants, hippos, walruses, etc for ivory because the amount of it is huge. Your two teeth wouldn%26#039;t do much.
Reply:Unless you%26#039;re an Elephant or Rhino the answer is no.
Reply:why would you want to?if you need money that bad get a job or borrow it
