After wisdom teeth are removed?

I have two questions.I have three wisdom teeth removed and one tooth directly infront of one lower wisdom tooth (surgically) a week ago. What does a dry socket feel like? Ive been having this annoying pain on the right side of my mouth (the side where two teeth next to eachohter were pulled). I have been told a dry socket is agonizing pain and this isnt. Plus when i looked in the mirror i think i saw my jaw bone on one side (is tha tpossible). Also my teeth in my lower jaw are loose. i can wiggle them and they hurt from time to time (the pain is releaved by an ice pack) is it normal for teeth to be loose after wards? Are they just shifting (i have minimal crowding).

call your dentist. it doesnt sound normal to me, ive never had teeth removed, but i know people that have and they havent mentioned anything like that. hope this helps. just my opinion.
Reply:you are right dry sockets cause very bad pain but have you been smoking or drinking from a straw if so you may have them. you are probably not seeing your jaw bone and i have never heard of teeth being loose afterwards i would see your dentist.
Reply:I've had two back teeth removed and I know what you mean about the wiggling feeling. I think it's just the teeth shifting. After about a year the surrounding teeth moved over so much that the gap isn't that noticeable anymore. I had to take prescription strength tylenol for about a week, then it was just an annoying tingle for a second week and then I stopped noticing it. If you had dry sockets you would definitely know. You would have a headache and barely be able to function.
