Hollywood teeth?

My teeth are in good condition but they are yellowish. I thought that when the dentist clean teeth they would shine like the actors teeth.

The cleaning did not seem to make my teeth look any different though.

What do i need to get a Hollywood smile shiney white teeth? Is it available on the NHS or how much would any treatment cost me?

Hollywood teeth?
use pearl drops it does take time but you have to use it morning and night.

you can find them at your local supermarket, boots or superdrug.
Reply:First you need to stop drinking tea.

The dentist cleans your teeth to remove plaque. Not to make them white. The discolouration is in the enamel which is microscopically porous. The surface of the tooth becomes stained. modern bleaching will remove this, but it costs money. NHS? Good bloody luck.
Reply:depends where you go for treatment and how dark your teeth are at the moment.

i work in a dental practice and we do teeth whitening for £200 upper and lower, this is a kit of 2 gum shields specifically made for your mouth and 8 syringes of carbamide peroxide gel, you wear the gum shield and use the gel for 2-4 hours every day for 2 weeks and this gradually lightens your teeth.

after you acheieve your desired shade you can occasionally top up by using the gumshield and gel every so often.

we sell extra gel at £40 for 4

doing the whitening gradually is much better for your teeth, and purse! you pay a fortune for instant results but teeth dry out and pick up stain soon after, then its more expense to re-bleach

bleaching only brightens teeth and will not change fillings, veneers or crowns, these would need to be replaced once you are happy with the shade.
Reply:Zoom. its that teeth whitening stuff!!!
Reply:400 pound to whiten them from dentist but Colgate whitening is good the tooth paste
Reply:There is a dental procedure where the gums are covered with protective 'gum'. Then a heavy dose of peroxide, (at least 15%) is painted on your teeth. You sit with a 'black light' in your mouth for 30 to 60 minutes, and it's over!! IT will lighten your teeth many shades. Most of the peroxide 'trays' and dental strips take a long time, and shades are uneven. If you have been on long term antibiotics, your teeth may not be able to be whitened. It stains them deeply. This procedure can cost upwards of $300 to $400 or so. I have done it twice in 10 years. Watch any black coffee or tea.
