Whiter teeth?

My teeth are not perfect. They are pretty yellow in fact. but this doesn't really make sense, because I brush my teeth sometimes 3 or 4 or even 5 times a day, and I don't see any improvement. I've watched how much sugar I eat and other corrosive things, and I've switched to a tooth paste specifically made for whiter teeth and I still see no difference. I know I'm brushing them properly, but I have braces right now so I don't know if that would make a difference. I want to know if there are any techniques or things or specifics I should know about teeth or how to care for them in order to get them to look better. Or if I'm just suffering from unfortunate genetics.

sometimes medication will do a number on your teeth, but you can try making a paste with baking soda and peroxide. leave it on while you shower and then brush normally. no point wasting your money on any of that stuff they advertise.

Reply:are you a coffee drinker? it might be your genetics. does your mom, dad or grandparents have this type of problem. you could always try teeth whitening. or maybe you just think you have yellow teeth. have your friends told you that you have yellow teeth? sorry about your problem, i hope what im saying will help. good luck!
Reply:Ok well genetics is something you might want to think about. Some people in my family brush like all the time but there teeth is still yellow. Your "druel" believe it or not may make your teeth yellow. See a dentist if you still want to get it white xD good luck
Reply:ridicur is correct. The whitestrips and other things on the market could ruin your teeth! Trust me on this one because my dad asked a dentist about it, and he told him that it's HORRIBLE for your teeth.
