Teeth/Gums are KILLING me?

Ok so heres the deal.. I've read up on gum disease and gingivitis and some symptoms reflect my own symptoms, but some don't.. I am in a LOT of pain but can't figure out really whats the underlying problem. First off, i'm 20 years old. I brush at least once a day, but try twice. I usually floss twice a day as well. Now, my back molar (not the wisdom tooth) has a cavitie in it. It's losing its enamal, and I KNOW its lose (I can easly wiggle it).. It hurts, simple answer *get it pulled*.. But the real issue for me right now is one of my front teeth (bottom).. For some reason the past few days this one tooth has been irritating the hell out of me. The gum is red, it hurts like hell, the tooth feels loose (when I wiggle it), but I heard all your teeth have some "looseness" to them.. is that true? Am I just imagining it's loose because it hurts? I don't have insurance nor the money right now to go to a dentist.. Tylenol isn't working, and my mouth is KILLING me.. any advice/suggestions?

Teeth/Gums are KILLING me?
You absolutely must go to a dentist. It will not get better on its own.
Reply:An inspection by a dentist is not in itself going to be expensive, only the cost of x-rays and the dentist's visual inspection. Getting your teeth fixed, however, might be very expensive. Time to see if you have relatives or friends that really love you, or perhaps apply for a loan for this purpose.

I'm sorry that you're in this situation.
Reply:You really need to see a dentist. Sometimes, if you can find a dental school you can get dental care really cheap. In the meantime, try rinsing your mouth and gums with a saltwater solution. Just put salt (regular table salt) in some really warm almost hot water. Then rinse your mouth and gums with it. Do it right before and after brushing about 3 times a day. That may help. Oragel is also good for the pain as is advil. I hope you feel better soon.
Reply:Sounds as if you also have periodontal disease. This will loosen teeth. It's hereditary, and also caused by smoking. The gums recede, hence the teeth get loose. Prolonging not going to the dentist will cause you to lose teeth, get abscessed infections. And flap surgery to restore what they can to the gums to save the remaining teeth. Many universities have dental programs that are much cheaper than a dentist, and will accept payment plans. It's crucial you go as soon as possible.
Reply:I understand your problem. Try some home remedies. Take turmeric powder, cinnamon powder and cooking salt. Mix them well in a little mustard oil and rub the paste on your entire teach for relief. Gargle with hot water. Take some pain killer available on the counter. You can take go for Diclofenac with paracetamol for your pain.
Reply:Call around to dental offices in your area %26amp; see what they can do for you %26amp; work out payment arrangements. Most dental offices will try to work with you if you are up front about your financial situation. You'll build some trust with them if you put some kind of money down today. If no dental offices will see you based on your lack of money, ask if they have any suggestions on what you can do. Good luck.
Reply:By the sounds of things you're brushing too hard and flossing too often. Get softer hairs on your brush to start with, and stop 'wiggling' your tooth. I brushed so hard, I experienced the same symptoms as you, and I ended up needing a filling at the bottom of my tooth where my gum had eroded. My boyfriend had the same problem, his gum got infected, and he ended up having his tooth pulled. So if you haven't got puss coming out, leave it heal for a few days (just gently rinse with water until the blistering, swelling, redness, etc, goes down). Stay off the acidic (sugar) drinks/foods and stay clear of the chemical mouthwashes. Opt for a herbal caffeine-free chamomile tea (room temperature). Try not to panic too much, and see a dentist if the pain becomes too unbearable. Well Wishes.
Reply:go to you doctor. he should be able to give you an antibiotic and some pain meds until the end of this week. usually the doc will bill you later. you can also go to the e-room at the hospital. make sure to ask them about dentist that might be able to help you out. go to the county trustee and ask for help in payment. i wish you luck. alot of the people above me has some very good ideas also.
